Terms of Service

These terms govern the ObsDog private preview, including optional hosted synchronization and collaboration. Local software licenses remain governed by the license distributed with that software.

Preview status

ObsDog is under active development. Features, schemas, limits, availability, and provisional prices may change before general availability. Do not rely on the preview as the sole copy of critical knowledge; keep recoverable backups.

Your content and responsibilities

You retain rights to content you provide. You grant ObsDog the limited permission needed to store, synchronize, index, evaluate, and display hosted content according to your instructions and Space settings. You must have the rights to share content and must not use the service to violate law, privacy, security, or others’ rights.

Organizations and invitations

Organization administrators control membership, teams, roles, and organization content. An invitation does not grant access until it is accepted by the intended account. Administrators are responsible for reviewing access and removing members who no longer need it.

AI and measurements

AI labels, rankings, summaries, and evaluations are assistive signals, not guarantees of truth. Human and model judgments remain distinguishable. Metrics disclose their definitions and evidence where supported, but you remain responsible for decisions made from the service.

Availability and liability

The preview is provided as available without service-level commitments. To the extent permitted by law, ObsDog is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and aggregate liability is limited to fees paid for the affected service during the prior twelve months. Rights that cannot legally be limited remain unaffected.
